We are committed to making our family planning resources and programs financially accessible to our communities. We offer a sliding scale for registration fees. The following chart offers guidelines for registration based on annual family and household income.
Registration fees
$160+HST ($180.80) per person for the weekend courses
$200+HST ($226.00) per person for the 12 week courses
If you cannot afford this fee, please refer to the sliding scale grid below to determine your fee.

To determine your fee, follow the first column to your family size, and then to the right to find the amount that is just above your annual income, and then then refer to the registration fee listed below that column in the chart.
This sliding scale was developed using Statistics Canada Low Income Cut-Off (LICO).

Examples
A family of two people with a household income of $40,000 per year would be in 150% LICO and their registration fee would be $80.00 for a twelve week course, and $70.00 for a weekend course, per person, plus HST.
A family of one person with a household income of $50,000 per year would be in 200% LICO and their registration fee would be $120.00 for a twelve week course, and $100.00 for a weekend course, plus HST.
A family of two people with a household income of $29,000 per year would be in LICO and their registration fee would be $40.00 for a twelve week course, and $40.00 for a weekend course, per person, plus HST.
A family of one person with a household income of $29,000 per year would be in 150% LICO and their registration fee would be $80.00 for a twelve week course, and $70.00 for a weekend course, plus HST.
Payment Options
Payments must be made two weeks before the start date of the course.
If you have not made your payment by the deadline, you may lose you place in the class to someone on the waiting list.
Online Payment
We will send you an invoice via PayPal, which you can then pay by either a credit card or through a PayPal account.
Pay by cheque or Cash
We accept payments by cheque or cash – if you would like this option, register and e-mail us to let us know and we’ll send you instructions. Please do not mail cash.
Cheques must be made out to Sherbourne Health Centre.
Put “Family Planning Courses” in the memo line of the cheque.
If paying in cash – please bring exact change.
